What do Endo and lipstick have in common?

You may have seen us talking about Endometriosis on our social platforms and be a bit confused.

What do Endo and lipstick have in common? Well, in the real world they might not have much in common, but in our beautiful community of Karmela Cosmetics, Endometriosis is a very important topic….

Endo is a condition which unfortunately is not well known and does not receive enough coverage. Personally, I had never heard of the condition until a friend of mine told me about it.

Do you still remember “The Talk?” I definitely do….

Our bodies were changing….it was exciting yet unknown. Becoming part of the female society, the transformations and monthly cycles we had yet to look forward to.

Being a woman is beautiful!

But like everything else in life, it has its up and downs. ⠀⠀

Like feeling under the weather for a few days every month…cramps…nausea… We’ve all been there...But then there are those of us women who suffer constantly, on a regular basis, all the time.

Cramps, nausea, pain, it’s not reserved for a few days every month, it’s a constant companion.

During that once a month period, the pain, “killer cramps,” fatigue, and suffering is tremendous, more than any of us can imagine...The physical pain leads to emotional suffering. ⠀⠀

We all want to have control over our own bodies but Endometriosis takes that away...

Some of those who suffer do it in silence because they don’t want to be told that they’re being overdramatic- everyone goes through pain during their cycles, but in reality it’s actually an awful disease from which women are affected both physically and emotionally. 

Thankfully, the Endometriosis Foundation of America

is there to help women suffering with Endometriosis through research and spreading awareness of the condition. ⠀⠀
