A Story Untold with Journalist & Rebbetzin Avital Chizhik Goldschmidt

Avital Chizhik-Goldschmidt is a talented journalist, with articles in prestigious publications, including The New York Times, Glamour Magazine, Business Insider, Haaretz, and more. Avital joins me today to share her story of growing up with parents who were Russian immigrants and how the Russian culture affected her and helped cultivate the decisions she made later on in life. She shared her family’s journey in becoming religious as she grew up, and the significance of how they grew in their observance together as a family. Avital also spoke about prevalent issues in the community and shared messages that she wants to convey to the Orthodox community, including cultivating a community that fosters creativity and creating female thought leaders, and making that the norm. Avital shared where most of her inspiration for her stories comes from and some behind the scenes of the world of journalism.
